I experienced a situation in Laughlin last Sept. I was SL1 and only playing place bets. A 9 rolled and I asked my $15 go all the way to $36. That right there caused a bit of discussion because it wasn’t a proper bet. I explained that it should pay $50 and I loose .50 cents. Another nine rolled and I asked to go all the way to $86. Because the dealer was a bit slow, and he paid all the come bets first, the stick was trying to move the game along, I left the $50 on the table , the dealer doesn’t move it, another 9 rolls and the dealer goes to pay me another $50 and of course I argue that I’d asked to go to $86. I wound up only getting paid for a $36 bet. I didn’t make an ass of my self, I tossed that dealer a red chip and asked him to remember my bets. There weren’t anymore problems.
