Hop the 7 to Win at Craps

Craps Tips Video Source:

Hop the 7 to Win at Craps is a strategy based on superstition…or is it based on math? The idea is to wait for a horn number to roll after a point has been set. The player will then “hop the reds” for up to 5 rolls with the belief that the 7 always appears within 5 rolls of a horn number being rolled. This video also explains craps hop bets and horn numbers.

  1. This may actually be math. The average shooter rolls 6 times. So if a horn bet hits statistically the shooter only has 5 rolls left. 😆

  2. is there ever a time you can use the hop 7s to protect the place bets when the table starts to warm up

  3. The odds of a seven coming up are 1 in 6. You can pick any number, horn or otherwise, and the odds are that a seven will come up within 5 rolls of that number. It's just math.

  4. Hop the 7 – I just got back from Harrah Casino in NC. I'm so glad I watched this video. They had the Prop bet for the 7 Hop on the table layout. I was watching the rolls and actually missed a bunch of 7's because I thought the rolls would last atleast 6 rolls; but nope. One game lasted 4 hours and over 100 Sevens. The entire week was like that. It was brutal. I bet $100 on the Hop 7, lost; $200 again, lost; $300 again, lost; $400 again, lost; $400 again | WON. Did that 3 times that week. Keep me out of the poor house.

  5. Did you make your mini Craps table? Or did you buy it? If you bought it where did you purchase it. It looks great!

  6. i did not count but also noticed during this shooter at least how quick the horn number came up after a point was established a few times
