There is a similar strategy that is a bit easier to follow. Make a 2-3 unit bet, raise the bet by 1 unit each loss, lower it by 1 unit each win until you get to your base bet. Years ago i saw a twist on this called the half peak.. it's the same as i just described, but if you get to betting say 10 or more units at your peak, if you get back down halfway to your original bet, you can go all the way back down. Example if you bet up from 2 to betting 12 units, if you got back down to betting 6 and win, you could go back down to 2 units, and you will normally be up a good amount for the series. Given the vig on the 4 and 10, i think pass or don't pass come/don't come would be a better choice of bets for this strategy.
Also, you need to keep the bets even for the system to work properly. The strength of the system relies on the idea that you are making a bet that wins about 49 50 percent of the time, but you are crossing off 2 numbers every win and only adding 1 number every loss. As long as you don't go an extended number of decisions winning way less than 50%, like 30% then you should be able to cross all the numbers off and your win will equal the number of units of your original list of numbers.
