  1. Hey Everyone! Hope you're enjoying this video drawing on my experience and background that goes way beyond my usual body language stuff. A few notes

    1) I'm getting a lot of questions about her giving the money back. I didn't analyze that because there is nothing to analyze, they both have different version of how that went down, I think it's a question of perspective rather than one of them lying. However, if people are going to jump on calling it an admission of guilt (and it can be), please consider the implication of the accusation. It takes a real conscience-less scumbag to cheat, doesn't that sound like someone who would suddenly decide to have a conscience and make things right? People who cheat, by definition, don't do the right thing, so it doesn't quite add up. And I don't think "well, maybe she knew it was too suspicious so she gave it back to get the heat off her" is a good argument, because it didn't make it any less suspicious, not would anyone think it would reasonably.

    2) I said in the beginning she's a professional player, I didn't mean that she's a pro in the "she plays in tournaments" sense, I meant it in the literal, a person who makes money doing something, sense.

    3) A question I got a few times is: IF she has a confederate with a thumper, why would they give a green light on this one considering the 53% (in Garrett's favor) odds here. I get how this would be confusing and it comes down to equity. If i told you to bet 5$ for a 47% chance to win 3 million, wouldn't you gladly do it? The way to calculate whether to go in on a hand is not always about having the better hand, it's also about the size of the pot and your odds. 47% is more than good enough to roll the dice on this one. In other words, IF YOU KNEW HIS HAND, the right thing to do WOULD BE to call his all in.

    4) A few people have pointed out that her eyebrows went up at the end of the hand and are assuming this means she was surprised. It's a great catch and a possible interpretation but just as often as surprise, eyebrows up can indicate a display of innocence and seeking approval, (think of someone saying "I swear it wasn't me," it would be very rare to see this with eyebrows down.) So as much as it's a great note, it doesn't necessarily mean it's surprise.

    thanks for watching šŸ™‚

  2. Before the hand started they did switch out a 6 of clubs because the dealer noticed something on the card. So it could be marked cards. Idk after watching poker all these years and playing it itā€™s sus for sure and also having her boyfriend/business partner playing at the table with her he would be able to give her signals if they did mark cards.

  3. While I really appreciate your analyses and your channel in general this is probably the first time I donĀ“t agree with your conclusion.

I think it is very likely that somehow she got the message during the hand if she is good or not on the turn (so not the exact hand or something, only if she is good). After Garretts bet of 10.000ā‚¬ she min-bets to 20.000ā‚¬ which is a strange move by itself to bluff with a amount that small compared to his bet. Now he is going all-in and she might be thinking – "How is Jack high good here, but I got the info that IĀ“m good?" That could be part of the reason she is asking "3 is no good?". Maybe to confirm that she got the correct signal and actually is good? She certainly knows that she has J-4 and not J-3.

You came to the conclusion that this was not the right spot to cheat and I completely agree. But here she is, already invested 20kā‚¬ on the turn and got the signal that she is good. Now for me this is a combination of her not completely understanding the game of poker and that this is a call you can never make and secondly – greed. How can she let go of such a huge pot when she knows she is good at the moment? So she calls.

Her reactions after the hand confirms for me that she is cheating – just look at her face. She is almost to embarrased to turn her cards over. I interpret her non-celebrating reaction like it dawned on her that this is not looking good and probably has to explain herself. Especially after she saw the look on Garretts face. She tries to explain it but this "IĀ“m not letting you do this do me again" attitude is not at all believable, itĀ“s not authentic.

For me itĀ“s completely clear she cheated, but reacted wrong on the signal that she is good on the turn. And her ever-changing stories what happened afterwards are just confirming this even more.

  4. Long video, but I was entertained throughout! I love seeing your thought process and analysis! Well done!

  5. Spidey this was an absolutely amazing video!! So thorough you kept me engaged the entire time and I have to agree with you, I don't think she cheated I think she just made a bad call and got lucky šŸ¦„šŸ’²TY 4 another outstanding vlog

  6. I personally think that she's lying but she did not cheat.

I'm not a poker expert but I know a few things about it because my ex bf was very interested about the chances and the statistic behind this game and he talked about it a lot. We played with friends a few times and I'm not good with handeling stress so there's been a few moments where a found myself very confused about what my cards were. At Robbie and Garrett's level I think that confusion is much more rare, but It can still happen because they're human!

I believe her when she said that she thought she had J3 and because she's still a beginner for this level and maybe she was very confused and anxious she played it cool and hide the mistake in her face, that's why there's not a realization moment.

So, I think this was a lucky hand and she played it till the end even tho she realised that she thought she had the wrong cards, but because she is a women and she is a newby she remaind calm and played it like she knew what she was doing so she will be taking seriously.
Of course she will not go to the public and honestly say "hey I was very wrong and I played it just to seem cleaver, but in reality I was just very lucky" so maybe we will never know the truth about this game

  7. Excellent analysis. The only thing to add that it's enough to signal fold, call or raise. Yet, it looks to me that she just thought for a second that she had a three to go with a frustration call.

  8. Awesome video!! Great to see you use your magic background for body languagešŸ”„
