  1. How many of these 6 things do you in poker? Also, here is the #1 thing most people never understand about poker: https://youtu.be/0dibKBc0nmU

  2. If your opponent is throwing his cards at the dealer is a solid sign that you re winning

  3. Since following you I've went from a slowly but surely losing playing, to slowly but surely winning.
I'm not winning a fortune, and only this week moved up to 5NL, but I'm seeing actual results. I'm actually surprising myself 🀣

  4. If you only consider yourself a break even player who wins 50% of your sessions, at 1 buy in per session, then in starting with 7 buy ins there is a less than 1% chance of going on a 7 session streak of getting felted. Of course, eventually you will go broke because if you are a purely break even player, even if there's less than a 1% chance of it happening, with a 0 EV there's no positive cash flow to create a surplus to offset against that unlikely eventuality. At 10 buy ins you're more than 1 in 1000 as a break even player to go busto. If you haven't figured out how to get an edge with that much of a buffer then I don't think 90 more buy ins is going to help you.

I think we're not distinguishing between a poker bankroll and a liferoll. A poker bankroll shouldn't be all your money. You should still have plenty in savings and more than enough to pay the bills and live your life. What your poker bankroll should be is the threshold beyond which you understand that the amount you've lost goes beyond bad luck/variance. You took your shot and missed and it is overwhelminly likely that those results are due to bad play. If you lose 10-20 buy ins you need to move down in stakes, learn the game better, or quit poker as anything other than a fun recreational activity.

  5. No such thing as a scare card, or monsters under the bed when you have a good bankroll. You know that one hand isn't going to make you feel sick.

  6. Hey Nathan. I play tighter than gto charts recommend and it’s working well for me and I’m a winning player. Is it ok to play nittier at the micros or am I missing ev by say folding KJs in the small blind vs utg? I attribute much of my success to your videos. Thanks Nathan

  8. I win 90 percent of the time at my local 1/3 and 2/5. It can definitely be done. For me, the key is being patient, understanding board textures, and reading opponents. Hopefully, this gives someone some hope out there that it can be done.
