I think I made a mistake earlier today, but let me know: 5 player tourney on GG. First hand, I get pocket jacks in the BB. UTG raises to 2× button calls, I raise to 6.5× (50BB effective stack).
UTG folds, button calls.
Flop comes Q,8,6 rainbow.
I'm first to act, logically, so I make a pot sized blocker bet.
I was thinking about making it a bit smaller, but I wanted to make better hands like any rag-ish queen to fold.
Was my play bad here?
(Anyway, button ended up shoving with Queen loveing 9 of spades and I call of course and lose. …) 😅🤭🙈
