It might sound obvious but you make the most money as a tournament poker player when you run deep! That’s why it’s important to know the tools you need to consistently run deep and put yourself in a good position to win the poker tournament.

In this live poker webinar I am going to teach you some tips & tricks on how to run deep in live poker tournaments. Lots of these skills you can also apply to online poker play but I will touch on a few points I’ve learnt during my many years on the live poker circuit!

Learning to adjust quickly to your stack depth is a key skill that you will need to learn to make sure that you are not making preflop blunders.

Getting a good feel & sense of your opponents at the poker table is an important skill to develop and one that will maximize your chances of running deep. Who are the regulars? Who are the recreationals? How can you find ways to exploit both player types?

There will often be poker players that play too many hands during a live poker tournament. The slower pace of play makes some people impatient. Recognize those poker players and punish them accordingly.

  1. Any advice on how to combat someone calling 3 BBs on the button with 8/5 off, with 10 people left, and like 25 BBs effective? Followed by a miracle flop of A/8/5 against AK. Asking for a friend haha.
