  1. is online poker rigged? always feel like the electronic tables at the casinos can basically do whatever they want… any experienced guys know?

  2. Phil Galfond, i make money off players like you head up, im not crimping your style im sure you make $ as well, but from what ive learned in playing hed up is its not really the fact that you have to play overall losing players to win, but more based on playing players that your playing style can beat most the time. weather you typically beat agg players whatever it is with added in playing adjustments along the way but it doesnt effect it near as much as picking the right opp to play to begin with. Thats jus an edge ive learned here recently, to choose your hed opp in a way that benefits you and not always just losing players, i tend to beat players that beat most the field more than beating players that lose it wierd but hey whatever works right.

  3. 16:20 Left table on River. Very interesting hand.

After his check on the River, what are your thoughts on a bet of 175 to 275ish into the pot of ~360? It seems he's polarized on account of his check — his communication indicates he's either weak and wants to check down, or is trapping to reshove — and 175-275 from you can potentially look like a conservatively-sized bluff with a missed flush draw, Ax, or Pocket Pair type hand. It gives him rope to hang himself with a checkraise reshove of about 3x-5x your bet, if he wants to represent a boat (keeping in mind his aggressive Turn open of 110, as well as his relative lack of aggression so far in the previously-played hands).

(A 175-275 bet also gives him very solid pot odds to keep you honest by flat calling with Ax, 8x, or mid-Pocket Pair type hands, if he thinks you are getting out of line and trying to bully on the doubly-paired board — assuming he wouldn't take your bait and reshove, as would be ideal.)

In contrast, your actual bet, 510 into a pot of ~360 with him having 830 behind, punishes him severely when he has the 3 or 88 (or sometimes the flush as you point out, if he refuses to give you respect). But otherwise it almost necessitates a fold from him, considering your raise preflop, Cbet on the flop, and strong call of his 110 open on the Turn — you projected strength on every street. A 510 bet after his River check, when he has 830 behind, voids his ability to checkraise bluff with a weak hand to try and bully you away from a decent sized pot. As you stated yourself, he most likely had nothing.

(The overbet sizing, unlike the smaller bet, is also large enough to more frequently scare away a call with a Pocket Pair, 8x, or Ax type hand — he would need to be winning at showdown 37% or more of the time to justifiably call 510.)

I'm nowhere even near your level, mind you, just curious if my thinking is on-point or not. Thanks for the great vid!!
