  1. so what do people think of the villain's play with 74s here? are the implied odds really there? i like to play a lot of speculative hands myself like that but in other forums (2+2 in particular) i took all kinds of crap for trying to defend playing suited gapped connectors, even with deep stacks…is calling a raise pre -EV or what? and calling with OESD with a front door flush on the flop?

  2. What you mentioned at the end is gold. One must always figure the elasticity of each player's ranges and even before that, try and figure the "pain threshold of the table"In my mind,I pretty much always want max 2 opponents when i raise. If 8x get everyone to call whenever you open raise, make it 10-12x and see what happens.

  3. So basically Hero flopped the nuts but got sucked out on by a bad player. That happens, just pay the man his money and move on to the next hand.

  4. Jacks face an overcard on the flop about 50% of the time…not 75-80 you results oriented fish..lol.

  5. I watch a lot of poker analyzers on YT. Bart, you’re 100% the most enjoyable, informative dude doing it! New subscriber. What’s the number to call on Monday’s Bart? I have a great hand I want your input on it

  6. I get the pot odds and how often u have to be right %. I wish those % were WEIGHTED based on avg size of the pot. Calling $250 into a $500 pot for 33% is far different than $1500 into a $3000 pot. Both are 33% but u better be correct 60% of the time on the $1500 bet size. Win 25% at $250 and 67% at $1500 and be EV+. Weight based on bet size n freq as not all % are similar.
