Poker Strategy Info And Source:

In this hand we hit top pair with KQo in the 3 bet pot, but by the river suspect our hand isn’t good. Do you like this bluff?

  1. This hand is honestly ridiculous why would the guy c bet flop after 3 betting pre then when he makes an ace check turn and now after your line makes no sense checking turn to the aggressor obv is straight forward but when he shows he’s trying to just get to showdown on the turn why wouldn’t you lead with your nutted hands you’re trying to rep on this river meanwhile it now looks like you have some front door or maybe back door flush draws that missed with this line or 10x that’s now choosing to turn his hand into a bluff…So now risk 825 in the hopes to blow him off exactly an ace he 3 bet you with pre? If he has aj or aq and is competent he would continue on turn so he can only have exactly axs…Wtf and he claims this guy is talking about his opponent being a break even player. What a lol moment

  2. do i like this bluff? not really because i just don't see what hero is repping, and there is a fair chance villain has two pair which he is never going to fold…a lot of people wouldn't fold AQ here either I don't think. its a lot chips if you are wrong and i don't think your story quite adds up~ nonetheless, who isn't impressed by ballsy bluffs? cool hand anyways thanks bart 🙂

  3. That’s a good one Bart…but at low stakes 1/3 even 2/5 $1k cap does this same play work against far much weaker players then in this game?

  4. It is doubtful he checked the turn with two pair. If anything the ace scared him. blind vs blind he probably had something like top pair and a decent kicker. The KQ was probably good so the OTT on the river was likely risk for no reward. Especially considering if he had a good hand on the turn he most likely wouldn't want to give a flush draw a free card.

  5. Why would you choose this hand to bluff with when it’s a great calling hand. No diamond blockers, Ace was checked, and this hand has pretty good showdown value. You can have plenty of other bluffs here

  6. You've officially reached "like before watching" status for me Bart, great content, keep it coming
