Poker Strategy: When Do We Triple Barrel With AK?

  1. In general its not great to dubble barrel a turn, which pair the second card on the board. The preflop defender sometimes has it, and the preflop aggressor gets no credit for having it. Also as the conclusion of the hand show, AK have showdown value, even when it missed.

  2. What if the turn went check check and the villian led the river, should we call with ace high? Or fold

  3. 76s, 65s, A6s? He just limp called pre remember, he can have all those hands a bored player would play.

  4. I don’t know exactly when we should but on this board let me tell you when you shouldn’t, when you have a club in your hand.

  5. Double barrel with AKxc is ok but on the river it's a check since we block flushdrawcombos like QKcc or KTcc. We are mostly behind but still have some showdownvalue against some other flushdraws, especially Acxc.
