After calling, and getting to play the pot in position, Matt faces large bets on a scary board and we go through the thought process that allows him to navigate a tricky postflop spot with pocket jacks!

In addition to in-depth poker strategy, Matt will also go through how to approach playing in the prestigious World Series Of Poker Main Event!

  1. What would YOU do with J♣ J♥ on the turn?

    Your Stack (HJ): 32,000

    Their Stack (BB): 32,000

    Pot: 16,600

    Board: T♥ 9♣ 5♦ K♣

    BB bets 11,000

    A) Fold

    B) Call

    C) Raise to 32,000 (all-in)

  2. Polarizing sizing—I really don’t expect QQ here at this point. Basically he has AA, TT, QJs, and club combo draws.

    (A), I just fold

  3. Great video again jl I have a q for years many and still today the use of programs and HUD's pros are still using like players are to me its a crutch and weaknesses and for pros using these its sad to me they should all be banned in my eyes what are your thoughts on this tyvm

  4. This addresses a MAJOR QUESTION for me that I hope people will respond to. I watch a LOT of youtube poker videos — very often starring strong players. It's VERY rare to see players fold with what is actually the best hand. My question is: should I be seeing such folds more than I do? Sure, in a simple way, it's a "mistake" to fold when you have the best hand — but because no one can ever play poker "perfectly," mistakes which would never occur if the cards were face up must be expected to occur all the time — BUT THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO BE THE CASE with the best hand mistakenly folding. Should players be folding more often that we see top players do in videos? Is this a flaw in modern poker strategy?

  5. Getting kinda scary. I wouldn’t want to bust out day one. I’d probably fold.
