  1. most players I get in this game are very tight so I vary the bet in the hopes that someone will actually call me so I can get some value.

  2. A lot of the limping is because the players are so tight and I would like them to believe that I have nothing…I understand I am probably wrong.

  3. URounder, you're right-on about it being a good idea to go back and cover basics. I personally have seen most of your videos at least once and still don't understand some of the terminology or the tactics. Ex. Continuation bets or 3-calling etc.
I think one video about basic hand-playing, betting amounts and answering the "why" more often would be awesome. These live-play commentary are super helpful.

  4. Yeah, I think you will get more value from your opponents at this level not understanding their hand value well. If you feel they are tight (which is disagree with) than your best bet is to raise and continuation bet a lot. If you find loose passive opponents (in my opinion what is more common) than raising and betting more when you hit and less when you miss will yield the greatest profit. Either way by keeping preflop sizing consistent you will be much harder to read.

  5. K3o is nothing… Players will call with nothing if you raise, you just have to give your opponents the opportunity to make mistakes.

  6. Noted, thanks for the comment. I have seen this requested a couple times now so ask and you shall receive. Monday I will put out a classroom video on poker basics, talk about poker terms. I think that should be one video. I can do another full video on bet sizing because it is a complex topic. My bet sizing actually needs some work so I will spend a week schooling myself up a bit to ensure I am teaching it well. More videos on the way!

  7. @sudoglm sit and goes are my favorite, you should get started with a no deposit bonus. you can get 5 pounds to start playing get it here > bit.ly/18gDUfU?=neaken
