I wonder how often the tight player would be holding JJ or QQ in the situation you give. Two very possible holdings just him making sure no A or K on the flop.
If AA hasn't improved by the river then your chances of still having the best hand are less than 50/50. The more cards that are on the deck the less chance that AA is good on its own.
Why not check on a bad turn?

That's why i like to shove with aa or kk preflop just to deny equity or hit negative variance. Other hands i play just like normal hands.
This is so true. Im basically a beginner to intermediate player and I just realized this playing with one of the regulars the other day. It dawned on me that he folds even with a decent amount of chips in the pot when he knows he is beat. And he folds a good amount of the time. He will call if he has it.
