Would YOU Make This FOLD?! Wolfgang Poker Put To The TEST!

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

Today for Weekly Poker Hand we look at a hand from up and coming poker vlogger Wolfgang Poker!

I discuss the strategy that you should be thinking about on different flop textures. A JT7 flop is very different to a J62 flop! Your opponent’s are going to have more hands to continue with on a coordinated flop.

Generally you should use a larger continuation bet size when playing very deep stacked and when the board is coordinated.

Remember that most poker players in low stakes cash games do not like to fold a pair or a draw so you should exploitatively size up your bets with your value hands if you know they are not going to fold!

This poker hand took place at the Roosevelt Club in San Angelo, Texas at $1/$2 blinds.

  1. What would YOU do on the river with A♥ J♦?

    Your Stack (BTN): $327

    Their Stack (UTG): $327

    Pot: $152

    Board: J♠ T♦ 7♥ A♣ T♣

    UTG bets $100

    A) Fold

    B) Call

    C) Raise to $327 (all-in)

  2. Have seen alot of AK and AQ limps UTG. AK and AQ can definately valuebet there at those stakes. They often overvalue their top pairs.

  3. I’ve seen two different players at my smaller limp QQ from UTG and EP in just the couple hundred hands I’ve played there.

I’m not surprised by AKo at all.

  4. The worst thing in Poker is if u run poorly and then suddenly some illogical player going to do weird stuff and u folding best hand . That is the worst feeling in the world and i feel like i should stop playing immedietely when such thing happens cause im tilting so much just after

  5. This is a favorite play from certain players. Calling or even limp-calling with AQs/AKo. Those are the players that always complain about AK "missing". The river donk is the trap. Where they try to make up for being scared to play it pre. I don't fold here. Only hands that beat me that don't raise the turn are QT and KT…

  6. I don't make hero folds in 1-2. There are too many weirdly played hands at the level; I disagree entirely with the “never raising” comment. We have the nut advantage and full house blockers against the right a
Opponent id ships it in his face.

Terribly Played hand by Wolfgang. Hopefully, this is an old video, lol
