  1. Do you beat your friends at poker? Also, here is the #1 elite poker strategy these days only used by a handful of top pros: https://youtu.be/g9dJldWQh_I

  2. Spot on analysis. It is like you have been sitting in on my home game. Good advice.

  3. Exactly, right on the money. Casual home games are like play money online. Everyone limps in preflop, and calls down to the river. All you have to do is just play super-basic-ABC poker: bet/raise good hands, limp with draws, and fold garbage. No need to balance your range ever, because nobody is even paying attention to that.

  4. My home games are 10/20 cents and it’s almost always a limped family pot. Maybe I get a single fold from raising to 3x but there is still no way to really put them on a reasonable range. I’ve found that pretending like it’s 25/50 makes them a lot more selective with the hands they choose to see flops and chase draws with.

In my experience the game isn’t actually too loose… you just aren’t being as aggressive as you should be

  5. Haha, use to play in a $5 home game. Was usually just a bunch of my brothers friends that would all go to the bar and get hammered. After the bar closed they would all come back and play poker. I don't really drink though so I was usually the only sober one🤣🤣🤣. Was all fun and games until they started to notice that I was winning every week. They all started getting very serious about the game just to try to beat me. Became a very tough game but was still only $5.

  6. Ontario, Canada has ring fence now and you can only play with other people in ON.
When I heard this was coming, I thought it might be like playing with all my friends who are, like Nathan describes, ALL FISH!
And its true … limp, limp, limp, LIMP … MIN RAISE!… Call x4!!
River cards might as well be face up because they play so straight forward.

  7. Hey bro, much respect, learnt alot from your videos lately. I just have a question, what if they re half drunk and you re drunk drunk? 😂
    Gg

  8. It can be fun to play with friends or coworkers, but please make sure you play super small stakes that the lowest paid person in the room can easily afford to lose. You don't want to take real money from your friends. At work, it's even worse to take real money from someone who works for you. Better to muck a winner and not show.
