Is there any usefulness or functionality to using Chip EV ranges when playing tournaments? Or should we ditch ChipEV ranges and just study ICM ranges from the start?
I think that If he(being conservative) calls your turn bet with pairs,overpairs and trips ,and folds hands like 33,44,55,66 like you suggested ,you don't really have automatic profit given your turn bet size,which is too big. "Denying equity" like preventing an AT from hitting a T on the river may be an argument,but I think that's not enough.To me that play could make sense only on the flop.
