RAMPAGE Poker BATTLES The World’s BEST Players

Poker Tips Video Source & Information:

In this Weekly Poker Hand Rampage Poker finds himself battling against recent Super High Roller Bowl winner and high stakes tournament crusher Jake Schindler.

Rampage Poker is taking a shot in a big poker tournament in the PokerGO Studio, Las Vegas as he finds himself also sat at a table with poker professionals Daniel ‘KidPoker’ Negreanu and Johan ‘YoH ViraL’ Guilbert.

In this particular hand Rampage finds out why it is difficult to compete with these high stakes poker tournament crushers as Jake Schindler applies maximum pressure with huge bet sizes.

“When you are out of position in a multiway pot you should be doing a lot of checking” – Jonathan Little

When you do check out of position you should be looking to check-raise your best made hands that are vulnerable to being outdrawn. Having said that, if you are facing an opponent who bluffs frequently you should be more inclined to call to give them every chance to continue bluffing.

High stakes tournament players may tend to overbluff against players that they believe are playing for money that is too big for them therefore they might be scared to call off their stack with their marginal hands.

  1. OK , I have a question if rampage would’ve checked raised Jake on the flop and got called or raised he could probably gotten away from it on the turn bet, worse case would have had better idea where he was in the hand?

  2. Played against Joe Cada on NCL Poker cruise in 2019 and Chris Reslock in Atlantic City in late-2000's.

  3. That’s an error that many beginners make against good players. They usually don’t bluff big in almost full rings situations, they do it 3/4 handed or head up, but full ring they just value bet, maybe little bets bluffs but that’s it

  4. Not having a diamond is not a good reason to call because good player don’t bluff over busted draw that never can make the nuts because it’s block many folds to the guy that has to call the bluff. It’s better to bluff 3rd pair that blocks straights that busted flushes unless there is a 3 suit board and you have the A of that suit

  5. LOL…. played with Trooper, 1-3 at Venetian a couple years back, not a good player but well known.

  6. Darren Elias was the best player I've played against. In a main at Foxwoods.

  7. Poker is not a game you can be sure you will win all the time if you play it correctly
    Thanks for reminder 😊

  8. The first tournament I played in, at the Bike, our table got broken up during the break. I sat down but was too occupied getting my chips out of the rack to look at my new opponents. The player to my right opens, and all I see is his wrist as he’s putting his raising chips out, and the WSOP bracelet on it. I look down at AK suited, and three bet before my terror can make me muck. He four bets, I shove, he calls and I barely have him covered. He turns over pocket queens, I spike a king, finally get the courage to look up, and a smiling Men “the Master” Nguyen shakes my hand and says, “Good game.”

  9. Played against Phil Ivey at the Borgata right after I turned 21 a bunch of years ago. It was a $10k main that I satellited into and Phil spent almost his entire time watching the Orlando Magic beat my Celtics
