Mastering study as a poker player means a lot of different things.
You need to understand how you learn best and you need to remember to test yourself in a variety of ways.

It’s very difficult to learn all of the important poker concepts you need to become a poker pro strictly by studying poker training videos or by only looking at solvers for your poker study.

It’s also hard to actually test your new poker learnings if you aren’t actively playing poker to drive your new concepts and poker skills in.

Whether you are a poker beginner or a professional poker player, you need to be thinking about varying your practice and poker study just as much as you try to vary your poker play when you’re playing against a tricky opponent.

If you’re building huge chip stacks already but still looking for how to improve at Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold ‘em, or big bet poker in general, Phil Galfond is here to teach you how to think like a professional poker player.

Are you a new poker player or a poker beginner? Do you just need the best Texas Hold’em poker strategy and best Pot Limit Omaha poker tips, or do you have a high stakes poker related question you’d like a poker professional’s advice on?

Leave a comment and your question might end up in the next one of Phil’s quick poker tips videos!

Remember to Subscribe for more high stakes poker content and turn on notifications so you don’t miss any Galfond Challenge livestreams or other poker live streams!

  1. Best way is to play at low stakes and apply pressure and learn from your mistakes as you move up.

  2. I absolutely hate solvers, its extremely overwhelming and ive been playing for years.

Am i drawing dead if i want to play for a living without solvers?
