I have heard Bart ask whether a caller's preflop raise is the standard open in most videos, but I don't recall an explanation as to why that is important. Is it recommended to open the standard?

Hey guys, I thought the turn sizing looked really "valuey" – I also think that most draws check back that scary Q because if he have for example KJ he would definitely be scared – our call on flop is strong. I think a more bluffy size on your would be with higher like 150 or smallish like 60-80 … I M O

It's actually surprising for me that calling on the flop was evident for you,I just ran a sim on this one, KTs without bdfd is almost always folding after getting raised this big. Well, flopping top pair headsup in KQ6 is ofc very strong but lets see the downsides: u bet around 2/3 on the flop which is on the bigger side so you'll have to defend less against aggression. Opponent raised to 70 which is a 66% raise and its also a relatively big raise(not a clickback to 40-55) on a flop where I have the nut advantage, and on a flop which can hit me many ways and where lot of opponents just calling almost with everything except 2pair+. I would like to mention that the brutal thing is that even AK starts to fold the flop without bdfd at some frequency if btn raise 75% instead of 66%, and i think it shows how dangerous territory this is. Well, it can be different cz if btn plays hands like K3s JTo 7c4c 4c2c etc. (which he not supposed to play) and he plays a lot of them very aggressively (which he not supposed to), then sure you can continue. But you are usually up against a range that contains stronger made hands, and high equity bluffs. Your hand on the other side has bad playability, and you are oop, and you can face big problems on later streets, if opponent keeps up his aggression. I like the turn call, i think i fold river, but it's a really brutal spot. In btn shoes i would probably only have the one combo of 66 like he did, cz I 3b all my KQ pre, and stop all my bluffs on the river because it's way too easy for oop to call down with almost 100% of range that he reached the river with on this runout- Cz when I call turn oop, I almost always have a K at least, since i can fold out all my draws on the turn because of the potential full house combos that the btn can have, so it's not too nitty to fold even JcTc on the turn.
