While poker players using statistical analysis may have revealed the cheating being done on Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker, the majority of poker cheats caught in 2023 are caught by the online poker sites themselves.
This is great news! While you should still always pay attention to your opponents (and if you think you are being cheated you should leave), this means if you play on a regulated site, you have someone else keeping an eye out for poker cheats like collusion, poker bots, or poker RTA usage. It’s not all on you as a poker player!

Any data on how many bots are caught per day? Or month? How prevalent are they?
Your premise “since the websites are catching most bad actors first” doesn’t necessitate your conclusion, “the sites are doing a good job”.
To even suggest this we’d need to know how many of the bad actors are being caught at all and how quickly are they being caught.
Surely catching 10% of criminals years after the fact wouldn’t be a good job, so they are data points we need answers to in order to feel safe playing
