Great Talk!
We are not "lucky". We've largely made our own luck, due to allowing "relativism" into our lives and governments, seperating church and state, abiding by the rule of law, and to cool our heads in time of hotheads (though we needed 2 world wars for that). By conditiong other people that they are "unlucky" and "need support", you are actually stripping them from the very thing that could make them "lucky" too: creativity, necessity, perserverance. Either change the system, or train the "unlucky" people to capitalize on the present system. Putting band-aid on a rotting wound is not gonna help anything or anybody. But that's my opinion.
