Man wins $40,000 in slot machine at Jake’s 58 in Islandia NY, but he won’t see a penny of it

Slot Tips Video Information:

The new Jake’s 58 casino at the former Islandia Marriott has been open for about three weeks and this is the biggest jackpot to date. This guy won $40,000 on a $25 slot machine in the high limit slot room by hitting 3 double diamond symbols.. A double wager of $50 is required to hit the $40,000 jackpot. A single wager would have netted him $20,000. However listen to him talk to the attendant and how he nonchalantly tells the slot attendant that he owes the government $180,000 and that he didn’t expect to get paid but that would simply “come off my tab”. Sure enough I went back the following week and spoke to some of the employees and they tell me that’s exactly what happened. In NYS, casinos are required to check for certain liens for back taxes, child support etc..and if there are any found, that money goes straight to the debtor.

  1. i would think they check in every state, its the same if u hit a lottery prize over 600$.. but to be clear state and actual government are 2 totally diff entities..imma go to this place soon, considering i live in suffolk county, but atlantic city when it gets warmer

  2. also none of the floor attendants would know if thats what happened, thats back room info that those employees signed cofidentiality agreements to work there

  3. they took down the wolfs machines and the buffalos machines.. shame

  4. Its good that the money goes straight to the debt. Otherwise he might have given it all back again.

  5. Yes New York but definitely get you if you owe any kind of money to the government๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
