  1. Hi — Thanks for posting the comment. If this did not improve your skills, then you probably already have all of the skills necessary to play great tournaments. However, that is not always the case for all players. The skills you consider to be "common sense" are often quite difficult and unknown to others. In your case, you are most likely advanced far beyond even good players. There are skills even above those listed in this video, but these would be too hard for most viewers – Vegas Vic.

  2. Thank you for your posting. I am glad to know this helped. I wish you all the very best!

  3. Great video. Even if you "know" all of this, in observing I believe you still reinforce and consider things that you may have let slip. No one is always on 100% of the time, and watching a video like this gets your mind thinking of those neglected areas and focusing your thoughts on the most important aspects. I am going to Vegas in a few weeks and playing in a WSOP tournament. I feel much more confident after taking notes from this video than i did before it.

  4. Thanks for the post. You are quite correct — the purpose of these videos is to reinforce one's thinking about these events, and how they may affect the play of hands in situations that will come up during tournaments. Nothing in poker is ever fixed, or firm, and no situation will always be the same. That's why looking at everything more than once — and thinking about it even though you may already "know" it, is equally as important as knowing it in the first place.

  5. Hi Vic
Reiterating the thought process that you went through in your videos are essential in keeping focus in tournaments. Fatigue, stress or losing our cool over our bad beats, are among the greatest threat to anyone's tournament life & I've seen it happen many times over. I appreciate the effort that you've put into this & looking forward to your future videos on no limit holdem tournament tips and strategies. I hope that you don't stop here. The game's evolving and so should you. Kind regards

  6. Hi Sean — Thanks for the comments. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Poker is a process, and knowledge continuously evolves, as does the game. But fundamentals don't change. Fundamentals are like the strong foundation of a great house — the better they are, the more changes and earthquakes they can withstand. New houses can be built on those foundations, and they will last for a long time into the future. But like all houses, the foundations much also be revisited often, and remembered.
