This reminds me of when you did your Three in one system. This way your playing is just applying step 2 ( or the second leg ) by itself. And yes if you do not wanna wait so long to be then you can use leg 1 OR leg 3 to partner up with it. 🙂
Also, Adding The Chop in with ANY game plan you play is almost always a solid approach.
