  1. In the long run you’re gonna make more money from the ante and raise bet. You should always bet the pair plus, but it shouldn’t be equal to your ante bet. When a dealer doesn’t qualify you essentially push if you don’t have a pair or better, but if say you bet $5 on the pair and $10 on the ante then you’ll make $5 profit when the dealer doesn’t qualify and you don’t have a pair plus. So your ante bet must always be 2-3 times greater than your pair plus bet. If you raise the bet of your pair plus bet you must raise your ante bet to that 2-3 times range.

  2. alot of this is wrong. i've played this game. straight flush pays 40-1 odds. flush pays 7-1 odds. the pair plus is kin of a sucker bet…
