1. To say that the dealer will bust way more often than he will make a hand is simply not true, the dealer will bust 42% of the time with a 6, he actually busts slightly more often with a 5 because it's easier to make a hand if he has an ace under a 6. If they actually busted more often than not then basic strategy would be to double every hand that can't bust you, but it isn't.
