  1. Congrats on your first bankroll double…I’m hoping there are many more in your future.

In my case I’m not yet emotionally comfortable increasing my play to black chip (average 400/hand) play so I feel good having multiple “banks”.

To play at the $25 table I need bankroll of $3k (most of which usually stays in my pocket and comes out in $500 buying). That’s my ‘game bankroll’. My session bankroll is at least 3 game bankrolls. So as I bank profits I just have more and more session bankrolls.

I’m lured by black chip play – the ability to pick up $1k relatively quickly/easily…and so on. That’s real money. But I imagine the casino manager scrutiny its super intensified at that level.

  2. It’s good to track costs and profits for personal and IRS accounting…but I think the $/hour is a distraction. After all, do you calculate that door to door, or just table time? Do you include time of planning trips, making reservations, banking, accounting, practice play, etc?

  3. Love your channel and I am a subscriber , But there is a lot of hyperbole. I traveled the country for a year and played BJ and the best games with the least amount of house advantage is in the south with the exception of one casino in San Diego. Wonging in where it does exist is mandatory min bets. Pen is 50-60% and if you spread your bet 1-8 your out of there in an hour or less. I play at a 5 buck table in Louisianan ( Rainbow) and got ask to leave in 35 minutes. I got backed off for playing basic strategy in California and winning. After a year of playing BJ I paid all my expenses and made a whopping 12.87 I started with 10k and came home with 10,012.87. It was a great year but very lonely and a whole lot of looking over my shoulder

  4. P.S if you use Kelly and have a 10k BR the best you can hope for is $10.00 per hour whats minimum wage now. To make a hundred bucks and hour you need 100k using Kelly.

  5. how do you not chase your loses? I was up then down then up then down even more. Maybe thats just how it is?

  6. Any thoughts on dealer changes occurring several times in maybe 30 minutes? While I don't see how they can affect the cards it disrupts the game and can break a good game. On purpose?
