  1. You are quite welcome. Please ask questions if you have them. Good Luck to YOU!!!!

  2. Hello John, I am new to craps and have recently started learning some aspects of the game. I have a question that I hope you can answer in relation to this video.

Please read below in the reply section a little long…

  3. My question is about the different combinations of dice that are rolled and their odds. My belief is that there are only 21 combinations to roll the dice, certain combinations of the dice rolled do not differentiate from each other, meaning that when someone says that there are 6 ways to roll a 7 that 3 of the combinations to roll a 7 are completely identical to the other three ways. My argument is that there is only one way to roll a 4 and a 3 adding to 7, same goes for a 5 and 2, and 6 and 1.

  4. So, if there is only one way to roll these individual combinations why is it accepted that you can switch the arrangement of dice to add a different combination when it really is just the same set of numbers. This is my view of combinations, 3 combinations of 6/7/8, 2 combinations of 4/5/9/10, 1 combination of 2/3/11/12, totaling to 21 combinations that can be rolled with a 6 sided dice. (Please explain how the 36 combinations work)

  5. I did the math between these two systems of dice combinations and it appears that the difference in odds is not so far off from each other when it comes to percentages. My only understanding of why someone would use the 36 combinations would possibly be an easier calculation of odds and payoffs.

  6. If you use 2 different colored dice, say a red die and a white one, you will see that there are more ways to make certain numbers that what you are allowing yourself to see. A 3/4=7 can also be a 4/3=7 as well as a 5/2—2/5 and a 6/1–1/6……all equal 7 with 6 different possibilities. If you use the 36 dice combo method, you can start to see where the house advantage comes in. If a 12 pays you 30 to 1 odds in the proposition area of craps, you should understand that the true odds are 36 to 1.

  7. Yes you are correct in that it gives you a better understanding of the Odds and where they come from. That and which payoffs are closer to "true Odds" and therefore, better for the player.

  8. Thank you for this explanation…

I really appreciate your Youtube posts; I am interested in owning your how to video on craps. Do you have a retail location that I might find your products?

    Thanks again.

  9. There is more to come for sure. I have man on the street in Vegas footage I haven't released yet plus other stuff in collaboration with other YouTubers. Lots of things are changing in my world. This channel will change in the near future. Thanks for watching my videos.
