  1. Sylvia, you are a very nice person but I'd like to give you a little grammar tip. It's 3 card poker and not 3 cards poker. I know it's plural, but that's just the way it is. Learn to say it this way and you will sound much better. I also worked for Grosvenor Casinos many years ago. Have a great day:)

  2. Grosvenor along with other UK casino companies have ditched employing UK staff, instead, they exploit the freedom of movement rules to employ largely robotic eastern european staff which has degraded the level of customer service and will in time ruin the business entirely. The young lady in the video is not the norm, her English is reasonably good and she appears to be friendly, most don't look or even speak with customers. The 2005 Gaming has not produced the industry it promised and should be reformed.

  3. lol…Im probably the "awful" dealer in the casino.
    1.)I don't greet ALL players
2.)I don't have a smile on my face
    3.)Im real…

    as to why…I don't greet with happiness…is
1.)Im constantly feeling like I can't breathe, cause the air pollution in the casino is SO BAD..that flies are flying everywhere…landing on chips…landing on people's hands…crawling around the table.
2.)Im constantly feeling nauseous and dizzy…because the casino wants their dealers to be quick, and also security..BUT…you can't do all..its impossible. They have to either choose one.
3.)The lightning and carpets are dirty…and the lightning is way too sharp…My eyes constantly become very dry
4.)I remember one time I actually greeted a player with smiles and good body gestures…HE ENDED UP TRYING TO ually harass me! Touch my hands…ask me inappropriate questions. (from that day on, I never smiled again)…
5.)Even if I don't greet players and smile…there are these weird men always trying to take advantage…asking inappropriate questions.
6.)Different ethnicity of players prefer different things…a)asians demand quick service..they think dealers that are friendly to them are horrible people, and will make those dealer's lives horrible. b)Caucasians demand friendly service,.
7.)not all people are same…some have disabilities…like ADHD or are born with a horrible childhood that make them unknown to how to express themselves.

sometimes…it isn't the dealer…but the casino and the players.

    DON"T blame nobody…you don't know their story.

  4. ‘Running a casino is like robbing a bank with no cops around.’

Robert de Niro als ‘Ace’ in de film Casino (1995)

  5. As a dealer you have to put up with a lot of crap such as cigarette and cigar smoke , drunks, difficult people and cheap people that do not tip. It is not easy.

  6. Been dealing for 10 years now, video did nothing to convey the hilarious and soul crushing casino environment

    but then.. she isn't a craps dealer…………..
