I screwed up paying that last bet. I hit a 6 I should have paid the 6 and not the DP. It shorted me a couple of dollars but no big deal really.
This is a neat strategy but it seems hard to turn a significant profit, it reminds me of the way Big AZ plays in his Plaza videos where he has a big flat DP and then lays the equivalent across. When you are basically placing offsetting bets your risk just shifts to the come out roll. The 7 will get you eventually. If I were gonna play this way I would shoot for about 2 hits then take everything down and lay the profits as don't odds to take advantage of being the favorite.

Thanks Greg, the addition of the occasional lay bet and lay odds on an outside point when you “feel froggy” about the point, are solid additions to the basic structure of the 6-7-8. In this session these extra plays were the difference between you showing a profit and showing a loss, so well played. Cheers. Rob
