  1. Nice video. I don't really agree with the odds bet either but it's just your preference as a player.

  2. The way you did it was never a fair comparison. Normally the Place bets Don’t work on the Come Out roll. You can make them work, but you didn’t cover that at all.

Your lucky that you only rolled an 11 and not a 7 on the Come Out roll. I would have laughed when you would have had to pay the pass line, and take down All the place bets.

    Next point
Who said you had to play maximum odds?
The bankroll decides how much odds you play.

Proper balance is good money management.

Now for the final kicker that no one ever talks about!
You can bet both ways at the same time on the Don’t Pass line & the Pass line, then After the point is established, take true free odds, risking ONLY the true free odds vs the place bet.
I dare ya to do that, and your eyes will open wide!

  3. Try the put bet—acts like a come bet with odds but don’t need 2 rolls to win—road gambler used to a major win—check out his videos

  4. Try watching mr B on king dice-who would have thought I would be a utube hand star😊😊😊😁

  5. I get the logic.. you have to roll the number at least twice to get the maximum benefit when working through the "come"…The 10 for instance it has to roll twice before the 7 comes up which in general is 1 out of every six times.. So your reward is true odds (2 for 1 plus even money payout) for hitting an objective number twice before the opposing number has a chance of hitting 6 times???

That is why its better to have the place bets equal to the maximum payouts and then when the "come" travels to that number convert the "place" to "odds".. but you have to have the place out AND paid out before the "7" bites In example.. you have 5 units ($30.00)working on the 6&8 place bet.. the "come" travels up to the 6 or the 8.. Convert the place bet to maximum odds (($25.00) which pays $30.00) and pocket the extra $5.00 .. but ALL of this has to be done before the 7 rears its ugly head

And people wonder why "lady Luck" is such an evil biotch

  6. The one thing in this video that I don't think got as much attention as it should was the risk to the bank roll. The Odds player was having to put out a large percentage of his money to keep playing max odds. At one point during your rolls, he was almost out of chips. Where as the Place better was able to weather the bad rolls, never dropping below half of initial bank.

The only thing that saved the Odds player was a hot roll at the end. Would love to see this again with the Place better using press/collect against an Odds player playing with Pass/No Pass.

  7. Pass line with max odds will come out better in the long run. Those who disagree dont understand probability.

  8. I have a mixed opinion regarding odds. The higher payout does justify the risk mathematically. I don't like chasing a negative expectancy bet either though. Since I am a don't player, this is no problem for me. Just my humble opinion: I always favor single odds for the player who can afford them. No one should play a bet that makes them uncomfortable financially.

  9. I agree, and have finally found a video explaining this! Why wait for a number to be rolled twice if the more rolls happen on the table the closer we might get to the 7. Odds better must risk money, then wait for a number, then ADD more money from the bank roll. To then wait for that number again to win and then win MY money back that I put out. Vs the place better may play the numbers he likes and press or even press with house money if the table gets hot while the odds better has his money off the number if it gets rolled again. (And cannot press unless from his own bankroll) Any replies or people thinking playing the pass line vs place is better?
