  1. Wager Me This plays this exact strategy. I asked him to to show the low roller version. Go check it out and he’ll explain why / when he challenges the 6/8 as the point vs Don’t Pass. It really just depends how the table is playing. My local has pitiful shooters, it’s almost a guarantee I’ll challenge the 6/8.

  2. Two other things: if you’re keeping track of how the strategy does, I believe this session was -$22 (4 DP units below your $38 win reported in the video). Notes In the video mention 2, but after you hit the second 8 point, you didn’t turn off the puck, and paid yourself for a come-out 7 (2 unit swing). Secondly, I believe people don’t like to hedge – essentially what your question boils down to – because a typical gambler wants 3 chances at a good-sized win rather than 1 “tie” and 1 chance at a good-sized win. I’m with you. In fact, imagine this strategy with $20 DP. You can place the point (6 or 8) for $18, and if you hit the point, you win $1 and if you seven out, you win $2. A no-lose!

  3. When I went dark side and have $100 on the 6 or 8 as the point. Instead of denying the number as dark-siders have the right to. I would place $90 on it and win $5 if it hits again. If it doesn't, then I would win $10. Any other number, I have problems playing a doey-don't system on it. Make a decision and stick to it. Work with the cards that you are dealt. Keep the videos coming, haven't seen much lately. I think I'm just about gone through your queue of videos. Unless some might be hiding from my search.
