  1. Hello same bet! Really enjoyed this video. Im currently building a 12' table. Just curious as to which you prefer? The cell material looks too bouncy as you mentioned. As a controlled shooter, which works best?

  2. Great video! You have a great looking table! I imagine you saved a ton of money building it yourself!

  3. Can you take a look at some of my videos on my table and tell me if you think it’s bouncy enough?

  4. Thanks a lot for the video , I have vinyl & microfiber but i can hear the plywood make a noise unlike the casino.

I’m thinking of adding the flannel, where do you recommend me getting one ? Thanks again BT.

  5. Ok.
So in other words u are showing a video on how to build a craps table without the knowledge of what exactly to use for underlayment? that just doesn't make any sense to me.

  6. Same Bet – I modified my 8' pool table, by adding a layer of flannel on top, then the microfiber ("Felt"?) craps table layout. At first, I had used just the felt on top of the pool table, but dice usually died when they hit the surface (realizing have 1" slate under pool table's felt). Went to Joann Fabric and bought 2 6'x8' sections of black flannel, inserted both under the craps layout, and the dice jumped up and down when they hit the layout, just as you would see with those old mexican jumping beans. Removed 1 layer of flannel, placed craps layout back on top. Voila, no longer the dead pool table surface, nor the extreme bouncy surface. Almost a Goldilocks result, seems just right. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRATIONAL VIDEO. Pool table doubling as a craps practice rig (2 alligator rails and $20 or so of MDF board from Home Depot).
