Glowny, the 28-year-old from Wroclaw has joined fellow countrymen Dominik Panka, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Sebastian Malec, and Piotr Nurzynski on the EPT pedestal.

It was a debut EPT appearance for Glowny, who invested only €530 to play in the tournament. He won his Main Event seat in an online satellite at PokerStars. In the end, he would end up scooping the largest slice of the €5,771,500 prize pool in the King’s Casino at the Hilton Prague.

Glowny is a new player on the live tournament scene, but he’s looking to compete at more EPT events in the future. “This experience was amazing. Even if I didn’t win, I would come back anyway,” he told PokerNews in the post-win interview.

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is a series of poker tournaments and was founded in 2004 by John Duthie, winner of the inaugural Poker Million tournament.
