Brad OWEN Is A BOSS For This PLAY!

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

Brad Owen the king of poker YouTube vloggers finds himself in a tricky spot on the river at the Bellagio poker room in Las Vegas.

The hand starts with Brad opening under the gun with pocket tens and is called by an older gentleman in the small blind. Brad decides to check back on a king high flop to pot control and on the turn the action starts to heat up as the villain puts on the pressure with a check-raise and then using a pot sized bet on the river.

Jonathan talks about how your strategy should really depend on the opponent that you are playing against. In poker, one size does not fit all! You should have a willingness to adapt your baseline poker strategy in different ways depending on the aggression and tendencies of your opponent.

Thank you to Brad Owen for allowing me to use his footage from this poker vlog. Check out more of his amazing poker vlogs here:

  1. How do YOU adjust against opponents that are coming after you?

    A) Change nothing

    B) Play passively

    C) Play aggressively

  2. You two are totally different but definitely my favorite poker vloggers. I gotta throw BOSKI in there too. Thank you for your content. Very enjoyable.

  3. My rule of thumb at smaller stakes: if the line doesn’t make sense, call it down.

Villain has no value check, check raises on the turn. Jack changed nothing.
