What the F?! Crazy soul read or did she cheat?!
So the most probably scenario would be that she had a signaling device that told her on every street whether she was ahead or behind (which was totally possible to do technically). She was signaled on the turn that she was ahead, and she thought the min-raise was gonna win her the pot because she thought she was ahead. But unluckily Gman clicked back and she GENUINELY did not know what to do. She only had a device that told her whether she was ahead or behind, but in her limited poker knowledge she did not know what to do if the opponent, who she knew was behind, came up with this aggressive shove. She went with the call, which in her eyes at the moment, was the correct move, given the only information she had at the moment, that she was still ahead. But she was very unconfident and she GENUINELY thought she needed a lot of help so she cried for running it twice. ALL the misreading the cards thing was just trying to cover up. Doesn't make any logical sense whatsoever.

Her reaction when she shows her hand is telling to me – no mention of “ I thought I had two pair with J3” ..just a wry smile like she made an amazing Jack high call. She forgot her story for a second
At 38:00 you're presupposing that if she cheated she would have perfect information and/or that she would have the poker know-how to know that the best course of action here is to just call the turn. However, if she had something telling her simply that her hand is good, she could just min-raise thinking "J high is good, Garrett is obviously just messing with me, he'll fold to a min-click here no problem, won't even have to worry about 2 live cards pairing up if I just call"
It deosnt matter if gman got cheated or not. If you get cheated in gambling, you get cheated and its over. If you dont figure out that ur being cheated and the hand is over, its too late.. thats just the way it is. If gman feels like he got cheated this time, it means he shoudlnt be playing at hustler anymore. Also these nonsensical shoves and calls happen quite often at lower stakes games.. no one calls the floorman asking to check if someone is cheating
Most of the audience here is too young to know about or remember what happened with the UltimateBet online scandal. It unravelled when a similar type situation occurred in a big money tournament where the final hand featured the villain making a winning call with ten high. It just made no sense and ofcourse it turned out villain was seeing hole cards.
Anyone who knows poker, understands that when an illogical play like this happens you need to investigate this. Robbie has been playing poker over a decade so while she may not be a pro she definitely is not a novice
I think she has a read on Garrett that he tends to Bluff all-in when he has nothing, especially the recent one that he bluffed Andy’s KK for $296k. Doesn’t explain the J4 high call even with the bluff read thou.
