  2. Lars has nerves bluffing, he has some moves – You can't be all loosy goosy, having a sandwich and folding all the time!

  3. In general I don't like this move on an A high board. I just think villain has so many aces in his opening range and I don't really like the idea of trying to get people to fold a premium top pair at 10NL, even against a good reg. I think even the better regs will look us up with AK and AQ a bit too often. If we decide to make a play in this spot I'd prefer a check-call flop and check-raise turn line more here because it just oozes strength and in my experience gets through more often.

Now of course in this instance the line that was taken could be very profitable with specific reads, so definitely not saying this was a bad play. In general with this line I think the turn is a must double barrel and on this river villain has a lot more one pair hands than flushes: all aces, maybe KJ of spades and KK, QQ which I think villain will fold when the flush comes in so given that we check-raised the flop I like the line from thereon on this runout. I'd probably just give up if the river bricks, without specific reads.

  4. Check raise on flop way too small, giving opponent too good price. At river, even if we are at the bottom of our range, we don’t hold any club or 56 to block the nutted hands. Don’t expect it to be plus EV in the long run.

  5. I think that with the run out his line made no sense. He played the hand like he would play most of his sets. When flush comes in and he barrels again, villain should look him up with all top pair hands that have a club in them imo, otherwise villain would be folding too much.

  6. Do we know anything about villains turn stats? I've at least considered floating this occasionally. A lot of scary turn cards that can hit

  7. great video , thanks ! do happen to know the Afq of 1,2,3… etc in percentage / my program ( Jivaro ) only uses % . my guess 1 = 25% 2= 50/40%

  8. I guess thats pretty standard. Taking a hand with reasonable equity that plays poor as a call and turning it into a bluff. But only with some kind of stats on your opponent indicating that he is indeed a regular capable of folding.
The betsize on the river is the key here as it can rep all two pairs and sets from the flop as well as all of the flushes. The flop-raise size is questionable as you are OOP, i think a 3x is better as it puts weak Ax into a brutal spot even before the turn.

At Nl2/Nl5 i never do this, though. A question for the hero: Would you ever do that against an unknown opponent at NL10/NL25?
