  1. Thank you JL for the solide content 😎 Losing is never badluck imo, losing is a thing one can fix by working smarter. Love Dnegs, little giant

  2. IMO the way the hand played out with it getting checked through on the river DNegs should have realized he held the effective nuts. I would have snap called Antonius. Any better hand than DNegs is betting the river for value. Again just my perspective. Second hand I check back the flop against Garrett 100% of the time, seeing the way he normally plays the check after 3 betting preflop so big is suspect. The turn I would possibly bet small to see where I'm at ;but with showdown value and knowing Garret can pull the trigger on big bluffs on the river I think I would wait and call the river bluff.

  3. Wow for once I read the hand better than Jonathan little. From the turn on I was saying 5-5.

  4. The last hand I think the one hand that Daniel may have bluffed out is A-4 clubs.

  5. I feel like 99 is a call in the first hand, his card removal makes it’s so that it is impossible for Patrick to have 9/10s, so the only hand he would jam river that beats negreanu is q10s. The pot was 150k and he jammed for about that much so I think it’s a pretty clear call.

  6. My question on the first hand is does Negreanu just need to call from an MDF perspective? Even if he checks back straights and 55 he has 1 worse combo of 99 (in fact if there is any difference between 9s9h and 9s9c, 9s9h unblocks the 9Xcc bluffs though I don't see how those ever call turn behind Ivey so I assume both hands are effectively equal) he can have 1 combo of T9ss 1 of TT (and maybe 1 combo of QTss but I don't see that one potting turn.) That leaves him with 5 hands he is betting for value and I assume a couple bluffs (maybe just 1 hand because with 2 callers on the turn it might practical sense to under-bluff). Antonius is shoving for a little under pot which means Negreanu must defend a little more than 3 hands under the absolute best case more if he bets the river wider. Is this just a logical exploit because even professional players under-bluff that spot?

  7. I bet Adelstein has 87s,A7s, or A4s (not diamonds). He could show up with A5s once in a blue moon, in which case he can enjoy our money… Boom.

Interesting point that Daniel has almost no bluffs on the AQ hand. I guess AQ becomes a candidate then. I doubt I would've realized that in his shoes. Also Daniel's turn sizing allowed Garrett to stay in with a bluffable range. Solid hand to review.

Lastly, S/O to the absolute twat that said you should hire a grammar coach lol. Jesus.

  8. He thought he was up against quads or queens, I remember watching this hand live and Antonius was like “wow@ the table finding out he folded nines full. Sick hand.
