10. Someone should probably tell Isaac Haxton he can take his mask off for atleast his winner photo. SMH. Some people are just hopelessly a 🐑. He goes somewhere where there’s thousands of people in small confines areas, he’s touching chips that countless others have and likely believes he’s being precautious.

    Maybe it’ll keep him from commentating. Listening to him and that Nick Shulman commentate on poker is a guarantee that the game won’t grow to the masses. It’s somewhere between watching paint dry and water boarding.

    Mike ton, Vince van Patton, Gabe Kaplin etc grew the game to the general public by making it entertaining, understandable and fun. A non poker player flipping through the channels and hears know it alls Haxton or Shulman pretentiously droning on, is not watching. Hell, poker has been my passion for over 20 years and I can barely stand to listen to those two.

    While there’s value in some “gto” concepts, live poker is and has always been a social game. Reads, tells, table talk, body language, personalities, studying opponents and exploiting them….that’s the essence of poker. Not who can be most robotic. It’s killing the game.
