Poker Strategy: 3 Bet Pot Bluffing a Gutshot

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

Bart Hanson from Crush Live Poker talks poker strategy about bluffing a gutshot straight draw in a 3 bet pot.

Jesse the Suit calls in a hand where he decides to raise the flop vs the preflop 3 bettor. When he’s called he doesn’t barrel a blank turn. How much fold equity does he have now when the top card pairs on the river? Bart discusses the play.

Poker Strategy: 3 Bet Pot Bluffing a Gutshot

  1. If he's going to bluff the flop with a raise he has to put the pedal to the floor on turn and river or just give up on turn

  2. i wouldn't bluff that river card..it doesn't change that much, and its still possible villain is slow playing a queen or bigger hand too. i'd just be happy i got the free cards and hope to win at showdown. nice hand, thanks

  3. that was a good check on turn because i saw player deeper stack liked to 3b 22-99 from bb just because they want to build a bigger pot, he maybe picked up a gutter on turn. Anyway u are destined to lose this hand because any pairs are calling you, even AK as well, so be obedient checking it back.

  4. "aww this guy just looks like your typical non average donkey non rec player" ……

Decides to bluff off his entire stack to him LOL.

Looks like you were the donkey bud.

  5. The sizing doesn't make sense OTR, if hero has a Q it's not with good kicker and can't have full houses

  6. Really not a fan of flop raise – did this caller ring in to get advice or just to try and defend his own play and try to show off

  7. Flop raise is ridiculous,he wants to fold AK,well what about the tons of other hands that crush you?Guy didn’t even fold JJ,. Whole line is stupid and fishy af.
