Poker Strategy Info And Source:

In this hand we make a loose play preflop but hit a piece of the flop and backdoor our way into a strong hang. How should we get max value?

  1. Interesting that Bart is able to put villain on the flopped Set. Do people think the sizing multi way Is always a side of extreme strength?

  3. Haha Bart's face after guy tying to justify playing 2-4spades.. "a lot of action so that's why I'm playing bad hands" lolololoo

  4. here we see yet again just why (occasionally) gambling with suited connectors and other speculative hands is worthwhile…Bart can make his funny faces all day long, but there is nothing wrong with this strategy, and look at how much he won. the implied odds can be huge..

  5. The Villain in the hand kind of did this to himself. He was up against 4 opponents on a wet board but only bet 20% of the pot. You just gotta bet top set in this situation and forget about the fact, you block top pair.

  6. I suck at hold em and I instantly knew he had QQ just like Bart did… you got there on the river and it worked out against a slow played opponent…. just run bad for him and run good for you. His play on river is horrific for sure though.

  7. HOW TO BE EXPLOITABLE IN NO-LIMIT TEXAS HOLD'EM:

RULE #1: Always play the same narrow range preflop, no matter what.
(Bonus: Following this rule will ensure that the majority of your wins are small pots.)

As Doyle wrote, with AA or KK you will usually win a small pot or lose a big one. And who do you lose the big one too? More often than not, the "huge fish" who would limp-call with suited connecting cards, that's who.

I look forward to seeing some of you at the tables.

  8. ME Jones and others…
Does mocking other players makes you feel superior?
Don't discourage intermediate players from calling in by making jokes about their mistakes.
Bart needs these calls for his show and the community needs these calls for info.
After all…who do you expect to call? A 5 times WSOP winner?
