Poker Strategy: Should We Focus On Beating Good Players Or Fish

  1. Most of the money is going to come from fish, the question is whether the best way to improve: winning more money from fish or minimizing the damage from good players?

  2. In my experience, a substantial portion of your winnings will come from enormous pots played against very poor players. Only bad players will reraise all in for 200 B.B. preflop with jacks. Only bad players will bluff $500 into a $200 pot when you have the nuts. Only bad players will call a big bet on a double paired board for no reason other than “a flush is a good hand.”

  3. What's comical to me is ever since the term fish came up is how many pure fish call people fish. If I had a nickel every time I heard someone call into barts show calling someone a fish when,it's clear they are I'd be rich. Most players are bad at the low levels.

  4. does this caller somehow expect bart to change his mind and say no actually you should always seek out the best players who going to lose the most to? Lol
