Poker Strategy: Trying To Induce A Bluff

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

In this hand we flop two pair and get 3 bet on the flop. We are pretty sure we have the best hand on the turn but decided to give our opponent some rope in the hopes he bluffs the river.

  1. I stop the vid at 5:26 to make this comment. First off, 3b instead of over limp if I'm gonna play this. It looks like you have to have a set and his 3b looks like he knows that and he has 66. Unless he is just monkey bluffing insane. I'd be very concerned based on my(your) table image.

  2. I don't care what anyone says, this hand is proof of the value in (occasionally) playing garbage if you can get in cheaply. Look at the return here…35 invested, 2500 won…that kind of profit covers seeing a lot of flops with whatever. The disguised aspect when you hit is just so, so huge.

  3. I think I'll just stop watching when the hero calls a preflop raise w/ Jc2c.
not sure what I could possibly learn from this other than "poker is alive & well"
