    Bet too much before the flop, called flop, called turn…

    He definitely could have lost less.

  3. i think it is closer than Bart is saying, personally…why wouldn't villain play other pocket pairs the same way on such a dry board when checked to repeatedly, or continue firing with AQ, AJ, AT? i think a lot of players are going to triple barrel here and hero's hand is pretty face up too…looks an awful lot just like 77, 88, 99, TT, JJ, QQ, all hands that nearly everyone is folding to a lot of pressure by the river. by being so passive, hero has no information at all. perhaps, as Bart said, betting out on the flop, or perhaps a small re-raise on the flop or turn…

    just my opinion, but since when did passive play suddenly become so popular?
