Poker Strategy Info And Source:

What’s the best strategy when it comes to playing turbo poker tournaments? What are the key factors that separate the winners & losers? What is the ONE SKILL that can instantly give you an edge in these kinds of events?

SplitSuit dives into these answers in this 101-level look at turbo structures. First, are these events even worth playing – especially if you have to drive to play them in a local card room? Second, if you do choose to play them, see why an in-depth knowledge of push/fold ranges is crucial for success.

Test your push/fold skills today with this free poker quiz (and get the answers too!): https://www.splitsuit.com/push-fold-quiz/

Remember, turbos are really just math problems given the smaller stack sizes and insane pressure from the rising blinds…so your edges will largely come from playing early streets (primarily preflop) better than your opponents. Spend some time working on your preflop game if you plan on firing lots of these events, and good luck winning your flips!

  1. My problem, and I doubt I'm alone, is that this kind of event is the only thing available without making a four-hour round trip to another state.

  2. Stop playing these games. The vig is too high. Take the $65 and treat your significant other to a movie and a hot dog, you will be far happier in the long run.

  3. Hi Splitsuit first of all thank you so much for all your content I found it really valuable my game have improved a lot since i started watching your videos.

    I have a question…
In one of your videos you said that your opponents have tried to set-mine you and since you are a good player that's not profitable for them because they will not get paid off with you when they hit (and i believe you). The question is what could I do to not be set-mined? (lose the least)? I've searched al lot of your videos and i haven't found one on this topic I would much appreciate and answer, I've been playing 2nl for a while and I'm above the brake even line but i can't say that i'm crushing it, every time my opponents get lucky and have a set or a full house over my trips i paid them off since i'm usually holding a very strong hand TPTK, top pair and trips on the flop etc. I play TAG/LAG…. please help

One more time thank you very much for your content

  4. Low stake turbo tournaments, blinds every 20 mins 😂 $65-$135 buy ins 😂😂….. im talkin 50c buy ins blinds every 3mins thats my low stake tournament situation 😂😂😂

  5. I play Hyper Turbos online all the time, there are some good sites here in the UK. Although the variance is crazy, they can be really profitable for me – they suit my playing style and theres always plenty of fishy recreational players !
