The poker world went into a frenzy this week after this crazy hand between Garrett Adelstein and new high stakes poker player Robbi Lew during a high stakes poker hand on the Hustler Casino Live stream.
Both players doubled down on Twitter after this incident with Robbi Lew saying that she made a hero call after she said she was “not playing nice in the sandbox anymore”. Garrett Adelstein responded with his thoughts into how he was cheated out of the money.
The poker hand in question is certainly one that raises a few eyebrows after Robbi calls off her entire stack with just jack high on a board that is even losing to a lot of Garrett’s bluffs yet alone his value hands.

So we would have to first know this robbi persons finances , which i do not. But let’s say she’s quite wealthy and a couple hundred grand means nothing to her. From what i know she’s a recreational player. So think of this, she wants to brag that she out played a pro ( which she did ) wether intentional or not she drug the pot so that gave her bragging rights AND she did brag. I think the pros are over analyzing this incident. I would 100% guarantee that many MANY times a recreational player has wanted to out play a pro just to tell there ( i caught a monster fish story ) so why would we eliminate this story from this incident. I would it makes the most sense especially sense the hand is so off as everyone keeps stating. My opinion on the situation.
Someone need to look into the beeping sound. When Robbi put out her time chip, then she leans over then the beeping sound went off and few seconds later she made the call. They need to investigate that, as that could be the signal to her that she is good
Some people are saying she cheated. Other people are saying she's a really terrible player.
We need to recognize the possibility that both things are true.
Maybe she thought she had J3 and when she found out she felt stupid about it and started to lie (which doesnt make it anything better). Weird that she gave the money back. If you were not cheating why should you do it…. if you were cheating why should you do it 🙂
Called down jack high no draw for over 100K I dunno. There are also rumors she offered to give the money back. If you weren’t cheating why would you offer the money back?

The most plausible scenario is she was signalled she was in front on the turn, thus the min 3-bet, & signalled again that the run out was in her favour, by someone NOT nuanced enough to know the outcome was obviously suspect . She’s obviously not very good or nuanced herself.
If this hand was played 100 years ago, Garrett would have pulled out a gun and shot her right at the face.
You not calling this out as it is makes you worthless. She is 100% cheating
