Notice how they don't actually tell you what the house edge is, so you know it's high. They just want to publicize their crappy sidebet and get the sheeple to play it. Bet it's a lot worse than the insurance bet.
Statistically, blackjack when played by the charts has the lowest house edge in the casino….even over bac. So when you're shelling out a side bet every hand, the casino now holds a greater edge….even if they're only turning a few bucks on the side bet.
