If you liked my style of analysis, check out my premier training products, where I use conceptual based teaching to help you crush it at poker.

Conceptual based learning is the best way to master a concept because instead of memorizing flashcards and formulas (what to do in one isolated situation), I teach you how to understand the deeper fundamentals of poker. You’ll finish the program with confidence that you can sit down in any game and be one of the best players at the table and crush it.

On this channel I regularly analyze some of the biggest hands of poker played on high stakes cash games like Poker Night in America, Live at the Bike, Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker or tournaments like the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour featuring legendary poker players like Doyle Brunson, Tom Dwan, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Ivey, Gus Hanson, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu.

I also pick hands which are sent to me from readers like yourself to give you actual feedback on your specific questions.

  1. Cool approach to life Alec.
I can relate to what you are saying. My priorities have dramatically changed in the last few years that I make my living from poker.
    Keep it up!

  2. Thank you for another inspiring video. I live in Thailand. I play most of my Poker in Macau. And it's hard to take pride for me doing what I do. Coz here Poker players are considered gamblers. Even though I study hard to try to be good at what I do. And I never gamble. (accept for Blackjack lol) So it's hard to put my Poker life in perspective.

BTW Alec, I see a lot of your thumbnails has Wynn Macau in the background. May I ask you if they endorse you or comp you. That would be awesome if they do, coz their Poker room never comp me with anything. haha. And btw, Wynn Palace now has a Poker room. But they don't get much action just yet. Most of the players are still at Wynn Macau.

  3. Nice video.

I tried a couple of times to watch videos of yours before, but couldn't get past the 30 second intro. I think Doug Polk may have done you a favour there.

Good energy Alec, you seem like a really straight up, genuine, nice guy. The universe is rewarding you already.

  4. Where is the best region/city in US to begin a full time poker career? I live on the East Coast, in the South. What do you think about Florida?

  5. Great video Alec! I've just come across your videos recently and I must say I'm addicted. You have an awesome outlook on life and it's exactly where I'm trying to be at in my life. I'm definitely happy I found your videos and website. Look forward to more from you. The way you analyze hands is so easy to see your way of thinking and I've noticed many changes in my thinking just by watching. I'm so curious about your program now.

  6. Sounds great but in order to be able to live that life is financial freedom. If not you don't have the choice in all points.

  7. Still, I think that being at the right place at the right time is a big influence on how far you can go in various endeavours. Many of the "pros" probably wouldnt have made it up the ranks today, sacrifice comes way easier when you can somewhat see the end goal far away on the horizon. And I dont see to many college students racking up +100k sessions these days.

But the advice is great as always!

  8. Loved the video! If you wanna see Akyaka, Mugla, Turkey, just let me know. You have a house here bro.
