It can be difficult to find these moments to bet when your draw misses but you have to take your entire range’s construction in mind.

When you call a pot-sized raise on the turn you’re going to have a lot of sets that need to be balanced out by some amount of bluffs, sometimes that has to come from your missed draws.

HU PLO can be brutal and maintaining a balanced poker strategy is going to be difficult if you aren’t actively considering you and your opponent’s range, especially as you get deep!

All of this isn’t even mentioning the variance involved in heads-up poker! If you’re used to 6-max you’re going to be blown away by the swings HU poker will bring into your poker experience.

If you’re building huge chip stacks already but still looking for how to improve at pot limit omaha, no limit hold ‘em, or poker in general, Phil Galfond is here to teach you how to think like a professional poker player.

  1. I hate the hand. Lose 47k for that junk? Even heads up that is brutal. The turn is a fold all day long. You had nothing and little equity with that flush. Sorry man this is horrible

  2. What hands are we repping river with that check the flop?

53 is the only one I can think of.

  3. I hate this logic of I have the bottom of my range so I need to bluff. Solvers be dmaned.

  4. nice for him to have a 7 there, blocking the most obvious set, since a set of Ks prob shoves turn.
